Removal Procedure
Note:
Record all preset radio stations.
Turn the ignition OFF.
Remove the screws from the battery cooling box. Remove the battery cover.
Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
.
Disconnect the positive battery cable.
Remove the console. Refer to
Console Replacement
.
Remove the nut holding the following fuse block connectors to the back of the I/P fuse block (4):
•
The body connector (1)
•
The I/P connector (2)
•
The I/P connector (3)
Remove the bolt holding the fuse block into place.
Remove the ground wire (1).
Remove the fuse block.
Installation Procedure
Caution:
Refer to
Fastener Caution
in the Preface section.
Install the fuse block and attach the ground wire (1) and attach the bolt. Tighten the bolt to
10 N·m (89 lb in).
Connect the harness connectors to the back of the I/P fuse block (4). Tighten the connectors to
4 N·m (35 lb in).
Install the console. Refer to
Console Replacement
.
Connect the positive battery cable. Tighten the bolt to
17 N·m (13 lb ft).
Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten the bolt to
17 N·m (13 lb ft).
Install the battery cooling box cover and install the screws. Tighten the screws to
2 N·m (18 lb in).
Set the radio stations to the preset selections.
