Preliminary Procedure

Remove the coolant surge tank bolt and set the surge tank aside in the engine compartment, leaving the coolant lines attached to the tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement.

Procedure

1. Drain the headlamp washer solvent into a suitable container by disconnecting the headlamp washer hose at the headlamp washer pump spout.
2. Disconnect the washer hoses from the pump and container.
