Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 Equinox 🢒 Brakes 🢒 Antilock Brake System 🢒 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1371162 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the oil pressure indicator switch electrical connector (2).

    3. Object Number: 1087801 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil pressure indicator switch from the engine block.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1087801 Size: SH
  1. Apply sealer to the oil pressure indicator switch threads. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers for the correct part number.

    2. Caution: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the oil pressure indicator switch and tighten to 16 N·m (12 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 1371162 Size: SH
  3. Connect the oil pressure indicator switch electrical connector (2).
  4. Lower the vehicle.
