Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 Equinox 🢒 Transmission 🢒 Transfer Case - NVG 900 🢒 Transfer Case Bracket Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the right hand axle. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1371165 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the crankshaft position sensor (2) and the knock sensor (1).

    4. Object Number: 928962 Size: SH
  4. Remove the bolts from the transfer case mounting bracket and engine.
  5. Remove the bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 928962 Size: SH
  1. Position the transfer case mounting bracket to the vehicle and hand start all bolts.

    2. Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  2. Connect the electrical connectors to the crankshaft position sensor (2) and the knock sensor (1).
  3. Install the right hand axle. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
