Nut, Front Wheel Drive Shaft

Caution: To prevent personal injury and/or component damage, do not allow the weight of the vehicle to load the front wheels, or attempt to operate the vehicle, when the wheel drive shaft(s) or wheel drive shaft nut(s) are removed. To do so may cause the inner bearing race to separate, resulting in damage to brake and suspension components and loss of vehicle control.

Tighten: to 60 N·m (44 lb ft)

Nut, Steering Linkage Outer Tie Rod

Tighten: to 60 N·m (44 lb ft)

Tie Rod End, Steering Linkage Outer

Tools Required:J 24319-B Tie Rod Separator

After installation, perform the front toe adjustment. Refer to Front Toe Adjustment in Wheel Alignment. (Link disabled for test).

Nut, Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Pinch Bolt

Bolt, Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Pinch

Tighten: to 50 N·m (37 lb ft)

Arm Assembly, Lower Control

Shaft Assembly, Wheel Drive

Tip: Grasp the inner housing and pull the inner housing outward.

The drive axle will remain in place when the drive shaft retaining ring is properly seated.
