J 25300-D Headlamp Aimer
Use the two adjusting screws, one horizontal screw (2) and one vertical screw (1), to adjust the aiming of each headlamp. These two screws move the mounting ring against the tension of the coil spring.
Some state and local authorities have specific requirements for aiming headlamps. Follow these requirements.
Replacing a headlamp usually does not require an aiming adjustment. However, do check the aim. Use the J 25300-D or equivalent. The instrument manufacturer supplies instructions for using the headlamp aimer.
