1. Place the headlamp switch in the headlamp position.
2. Ensure that the headlamps light.
3. Select high beam.
4. Disconnect the connector at the instrument cluster.
5. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the instrument cluster connector, cavity B3 for CKT 11 (LT GRN), and ground.

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 11 (LT GRN) between the instrument cluster and splice S234.

Is the high beam indicator operative?

Go to Headlight System Check

Go to Step 4

Connect a J 39200 DMM between the instrument cluster connector, cavity B1 for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 8

Is the filament of the high beam indicator lamp open?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 7

Replace the high beam indicator lamp.

Is the high beam indicator operative?

Replace the instrument cluster.

Is the high beam indicator operative?

Go to Step 8

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between ground G201 and the instrument cluster.
