Was the Headlight System Check peformed?

Go to Headlight System Check

1. Disconnect connector C200 at the steering column.
2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between connector C200, cavity E13 for CKT 10 (YEL) and cavity E11 for CKT 11 (LT GRN).
3. Operate the headlamp dimmer switch at least twice.
4. Select the high beam.

Is continuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 11 (LT GRN) between connector C200 and splice S144.

Are the high beam headlamps operative?

Go to Step 4

1. Locate the open in CKT 11 (LT GRN) in the steering column.
2. Repair the open, as needed.

Did you repair an open?

Go to Step 5

Replace the headlamp dimmer switch.

Are the high beam headlamps operative?
