Was the Exterior Lights System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect connector C202 at the convenience center.
  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the convenience center, pin E4 of connector C202, and ground.
  3. Depress the brake pedal.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in CKT 17 (WHT) between connector C202 and splice S410.

Are all of the stoplamps operative?

--

  1. Disconnect the connector at the torque converter clutch (TCC)/stoplamp switch.
  2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the TCC/stoplamp switch connector, pin F for CKT 17 (WHT), and the convenience center, pin E4 of connector C202.

Is contiuity present?

Repair the open in CKT 17 (WHT) between the TCC/stoplamp switch and splice S114.

Are all of the stoplamps operative?

--

Connect an unpowered test lamp between the TCC/stoplamp switch connector, cavity E for CKT 140 (ORN), and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Adjust the TCC/stoplamp switch.

Are all of the stoplamps operative?

Replace the TCC/stoplamp switch.

Are all of the stoplamps operative?

Repair the open in CKT 140 (ORN) between the instrument panel fuse block and the TCC/stoplamp switch.
