Was the DRL System Check performed?

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

  1. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  2. Disconnect the connector at the daytime running lamp control module.
  3. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the daytime running lamp control module connector cavity C for CKT 39 (PNK) and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Connect a J 39200 DMM between the daytime running lamp control module connector cavity H for CKT 150 (BLK) and a known good ground.

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 39 (PNK) between the IP fuse block and the daytime running lamp control module.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

--

  1. Remove the daytime running lamp relay from the IP relay center.
  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the IP relay center cavity B3 from CKT 340 (ORN) and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the daytime running lamp control module and ground G201.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

Connect a J 39200 DMM between the IP relay center cavity A3 and the daytime running lamp control module connector cavity G for CKT 592 (LT GRN/BLK ).

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 10

Repair the open in CKT 340 (ORN) between the IP fuse block and S203.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

Replace the daytime running lamp control module.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 592 (LT GRN/BLK) between the daytime running lamp control module connector and the IP relay center.
