Was the Exterior Lights System Check performed?

1. Remove the bulb from the left rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp connector.
2. Connect a J 39200 DMM between the left rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp connector, cavity G for CKT 150 (BLK), and ground.

Is continuity present?

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the left rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp connector and ground G400.

Is the left rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp operative?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

Go to Step 4

1. Connect an unpowered test lamp between the left rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp connector, cavity B for CKT 9 (BRN), and ground.
2. Place the headlamp switch in the park lamps position.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Replace the left rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp bulb.

Is the left rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp operative?

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 9 (BRN) between splice S901 and the left rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamp connector.

Is the rear taillamp or the rear park and turn signal lamps operative?
