The windshield wiper/washer system consists of a wiper drive system module, wiper arm and blade assemblies, a washer pump mounted low on the side of a washer solvent container, and a dented turn signal-type wiper/washer switch. The wiper drive system module consists of a permanent magnet, positive-park wiper motor assembly and transmission assembly mounted on a tube frame. The wiper motor assembly is the only replaceable part of the wiper drive system module. The wiper motor assembly is equipped with radio frequency interference (RFI) suppression. The circuit board and cover assembly is the only replaceable part of the wiper motor assembly. The wiper motor assembly is protected by an automatic reset type circuit breaker located in the brush holder circuit. A wiper fuse protects the wiper/washer circuit wiring.
