Was the Wiper/Washer System Check performed?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between connector C200, Pin E4 of CKT 143 (YEL) (backprobe) and ground.

Did the test lamp light?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 3

Repair the open in CKT 143 (YEL) between the IP fuse block and connector C200.

Are the wipers and washer still inoperative?

--

Go to Step 4

  1. Disconnect connector C200.
  2. Place the windshield washer/wiper switch in the HIGH position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 between connector C200, cavity E4 of CKT 93 (YEL) pigtail and cavity E3 of CKT 92 (PPL) pigtail.

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 5

  1. Repair the open in CKT 93 (YEL) pigtail or repair the open in CKT 92 (PPL) pigtail.
  2. If there is no open in either circuit, replace the multifunction lever. Refer to Multifunction, Turn Signal, and Hazard Switch Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Standard or Multifunction, Turn Signal, and Hazard Switch Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column - Tilt.

Are the wipers and washer still inoperative?

--

Go to Step 6

Go to Wiper/Washer System Check

  1. Disconnect the connector at the windshield wiper motor.
  2. Connect a J 39200 between connector cavity A of CKT 150 (BLK) and ground.

Is continuity present?

--

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the windshield wiper motor and ground G201.

Are the wipers and washer still inoperative?

--

--

Go to Wiper/Washer System Check

Replace the windshield wiper motor.

Are the wipers and washer still inoperative?

--
