Has the Remote Keyless Entry System Check been performed?

1. Disconnect the remote control door lock receiver.
2. Connect an unpowered test lamp between remote control door lock receiver connector cavity R for CKT 195 (LT BLU) and a known good ground.
3. Lock all doors from any power door lock switch.

Did the test lamp light?

Go to Step 4

1. Reprogram a known good transmitter. Refer to Transmitter Programming .
2. Attempt to operate the keyless entry system.

Does the good transmitter work?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in CKT 195 (LT BLU) between S241 and the remote control door lock receiver connector cavity R.

Does the receiver operate properly?

--

Go to Remote Keyless Entry System Check

Replace the old transmitter(s).

Is the repair complete?

Go to Remote Keyless Entry System Check

--

1. Replace the remote control door lock receiver.
2. Program or reprogram the transmitters. Refer to Transmitter Programming .

Has the Remote Keyless Entry System Check been performed?

Go to Step 2

Go to Remote Keyless Entry System Check

1. Disconnect the remote control door lock receiver.
2. Remove the power door lock relay from the socket.
3. Connect a digital multimeter (DMM) between the power door lock relay socket cavity B and the remote control door lock receiver connector cavity H for CKT 294 (TAN).

Is continuity present?

Replace the remote control door lock receiver. Refer to Receiver Replacement

Is the door unlock still inoperative with the transmitter on the right front and the side?

Repair the open in CKT 294 (TAN) between splice S243 and the remote control door lock receiver.

Is the door unlock still inoperative with the transmitter on the right front and the side?
