PROM ID

--

This function is used to identify the hardware and software revisions to the EBCM.

History Data

--

This function displays the last two digits and a description of any previously stored DTCs that have not been cleared.

Tire Size Calibration

    • Read Tire Calibration
    • New Tire Size

Important: For vehicles equipped with gas engines, the PCM must also be programmed with the correct tire size calibration when tire size is changed. When calibrating the modules, the EBCM calibration must match the FRONT tire size and the PCM calibration must match the REAR tire size. For vehicles equipped with diesel engines, the vehicle speed sensor buffer must be replaced when the axle ratio or rear tire size is changed significantly.

This function is used to view the existing tire calibration or to program tire size information into the EBCM memory. This must be done when a replacement EBCM is installed in the vehicle or when different size tires are installed on the vehicle.

Function Test

--

The Function test commands the system relay, valve solenoids and the pump motor ON and OFF. The EBCM will set a DTC if a malfunction is detected.
