Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Disconnect the fuel lines to the fuel pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  3. Disconnect the fuel pump electrical connector.

    4. Object Number: 1658281 Size: SH
  4. Remove the fuel pump retaining bolt.
  5. Remove the fuel pump from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1658281 Size: SH
  1. Install the fuel pump to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the fuel pump retaining bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  3. Connect the fuel lines to the fuel pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  4. Connect the fuel pump electrical connector.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
