Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear with Bench Seat

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 551179 Size: MH
  1. Partially remove the seat cushion cover in order to gain access to the seat belt/buckle retaining bolt.
  2. Remove the seat belt/buckle retaining bolt from the seat frame.
  3. Remove the seat belt/buckle from the seat frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 551179 Size: MH
  1. Install the seat belt/buckle to the seat frame.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the seat belt/buckle retaining bolt to the seat frame.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the seat belt/buckle retaining bolt to 52 N·m (38 lb ft).

  3. Install the seat cushion cover to the seat frame.

  2. Remove the rear back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement .

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Tighten
52 N·m (48 lb ft)

Tighten
52 N·m (48 lb ft)
