Ignition Voltage | 0 V | 0 V | 12.5-14.5 V |
The transmission control module (TCM) continuously monitors the system voltage on the ignition voltage and the battery voltage circuits. Lower than normal or higher than normal voltage may not operate the transmission control solenoids properly. Improper solenoid operation may cause erratic transmission operation and may result in internal transmission damage.
The engine speed is 1,200 RPM for greater than 5 seconds.
The ignition is ON.
The TCM detects system voltage of 11 V or less for 10 seconds.
The TCM detects system voltage of 18 V or greater for 10 seconds.
DTC P0562 and P0563 are type C DTCs.
DTC P0562 and P0563 are type C DTCs.

Ignition ON, observe the Ignition 1 Signal parameter with the scan tool. The Ignition 1 Signal parameter should read between 12.0-14.5 volts.
⇒ | If greater than 1.0 volt, test the TCM ignition 1 and ground circuits for high resistance. If the circuits test normal, replace the TCM. |
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
