🢒 Washer Pump Replacement
Removal Procedure
Open and support the hood.
Remove the upper fender support.
Remove the bolt from the washer solvent container.
Lift the washer solvent container up enough past the horns in order to access the washer hose and the electrical connector.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the washer pump.
Disconnect the washer hose from the washer pump.
Place a cap on the washer pump to prevent any washer solvent loss.
Remove the washer solvent container from the vehicle.
Drain the washer solvent into a suitable container.
Remove the washer pump from the washer solvent container.
Remove the washer solvent container cap.
Installation Procedure
Install the new washer pump into the washer solvent container.
Install the washer solvent container cap.
Connect the electrical connector to the new washer pump.
Connect the washer hose to the new washer pump.
Position the washer solvent container into the locating holes in the chassis.
Caution:
Refer to
Fastener Caution
in the Preface section.
Install the washer solvent container with the bolt and tighten to
10 N·m (89 lb in)
.
Install the upper fender support.
Fill the washer solvent container.
Close the hood.
