Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side 60/40 Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side or Rear Side 60/40 Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side.

    2. Object Number: 333988 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the side rear door upper latch lock rod from the side rear door upper latch (1).
  3. Remove the bolts (2) that retain the side rear door upper latch (1) to the door.
  4. Remove the side rear door upper latch (1) from the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 333988 Size: SH
  1. Install the side rear door upper door latch (1) to the door.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the bolts (2) that retain the side rear door upper latch (1) to the door and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
  3. Connect the side rear door upper latch lock rod to the side rear door upper latch (1).
  4. Install the side rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side 60/40 Door Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side or Rear Side 60/40 Door Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side.
