Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 333981 Size: SH
  1. Open the door approximately half way.
  2. Pull the side door check strap (1) toward the inside of the door.
  3. Swing the door open.
  4. Remove the fasteners (2) that retain the side door check strap (1) to the door pillar.
  5. Remove the side door check strap (1) from the door.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 333981 Size: SH
  1. Install the side door check strap (1) into the door.
  2. Hook the strap (1) to the pin inside of the door. Pull the strap (1) in order engage the pin.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the fasteners (2) in order to retain the side door check strap (1) to the door pillar and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
