Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
  2. Remove the I/P carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 769280 Size: SH
  3. Remove the windshield defrost duct retaining screws at the heater case.
  4. Remove the windshield defrost duct retaining nuts at the cowl.
  5. Remove the windshield defrost duct (5) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 769280 Size: SH
  1. Install the windshield defrost duct (5) to the vehicle.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the windshield defrost duct retaining nuts to the cowl and tighten to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
  3. Install the windshield defrost duct retaining screws to the heater case and tighten to 4 N·m (35 lb in).
  4. Install the I/P carrier. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement.
  5. Install the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement.
