Some customers may comment on the CNG fuel gage reading higher than actual or running out of CNG fuel when the gage reads above empty. In some instances, customers may also comment on the MIL illuminating. Upon investigation, the technician may find either a fuel or misfire related DTC. Diagnostics fail to resolve the DTC issue.
Reprogram the PCM with calibration operating system P/N 52372987 or later.
The new calibration will be released beginning with TIS satellite data update version 4.0 for 2004, which includes TECH2® update version 24.001, available April 2004. As always, make sure your TECH2® is updated with the latest software version.
