Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the screws retaining the fuel filter pipe to the body.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Use jack stands in order to support the body of the vehicle.

  4. Object Number: 321563  Size: SH
  5. Release the brake line retainers closest to the first body mount (2) in order to ensure that the brake lines will not bend when you lower the frame.

  6. Object Number: 321566  Size: MH
  7. Loosen all the body mount bolts (5). Do not remove the bolts.

  8. Object Number: 321567  Size: MH
  9. Remove the bolt (5) from the body mount.
  10. Lower the frame slightly.
  11. Remove the body mount from the frame.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 321563  Size: SH
  1. Install the body mount (2) to the frame.
  2. Raise the frame.

  3. Object Number: 321566  Size: MH
  4. Install the bolt (5) to the body mount.

  5. Object Number: 321567  Size: MH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  6. Install the body mount bolts (5).
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the body mount bolts to 140 N·m (103 lb ft).

  8. Install the brake line retainers.
  9. Remove the safety stands.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Install the screws retaining the fuel filler pipe to the body.
