Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2007 🢒 Express - AWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Cooling 🢒 Intake Air Heater Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the charge air cooler outlet pipe. Refer to Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1724827 Size: SH
  3. Remove the nut and the positive cable from the intake air heater (IAH).

    4. Object Number: 1732868 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the air intake heater electrical connector.

    5. Object Number: 1732881 Size: SH
  5. Remove the 4 intake air heater bolts and remove the IAH and pipe and discard the IAH gasket.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1732881 Size: SH
  1. Position the IAH and pipe, using a NEW IAH gasket. Install the 4 IAH bolts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the IAH bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  2. Connect the air intake heater electrical connector.

    3. Object Number: 1724827 Size: SH
  3. Position the positive cable and install the nut.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the positive cable nut to 4 N·m (34 lb in).

  4. Install the charge air cooler outlet pipe. Refer to Charged Air Cooler Hoses/Pipes Replacement .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
