Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1824281 Size: SH
  1. Drain the fuel below the fuel fill neck. Refer to Fuel Tank Draining .
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Loosen the fuel fill hose clamps (1) at the tank and the filler neck.
  4. Remove the fuel fill hose from the tank and filler neck.
  5. Cap the fuel and vent holes in the fuel tank in order to prevent possible fuel system contamination.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1824281 Size: SH
  1. Remove the caps from the fuel and vent holes in the fuel tank.
  2. Install the fuel fill hose to the tank and filler neck.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Tighten the fuel fill hose clamps (1) at the tank and filler neck.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the clamps to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Fill the fuel to the previous level.
