Removal Procedure
  1. Drain the fuel from the filter assembly. Refer to Water-in-Fuel Draining .
  2. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter assembly.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the primary fuel filter from the bracket.

    5. Object Number: 1663150 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the primary filter assembly from the bracket.
  6. Remove the primary filter assembly.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the primary filter assembly.

    2. Object Number: 1663150 Size: SH
  2. Bolt the primary filter assembly to the bracket.
  3. Connect the electrical connectors.
  4. Connect the fuel lines.
  5. Prime the fuel system. Refer to Fuel System Priming .
  6. Start the vehicle and inspect for leaks.
