Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 854224 Size: SH
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the I/P cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
  3. Release the passenger AIR BAG disable switch (1) locking tabs.
  4. Remove the switch (1) from the I/P accessory trim panel.
  5. Disconnect the passenger AIR BAG disable switch electrical connection (2).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 854224 Size: SH
  1. Install the I/P cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
  2. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the passenger AIR BAG disable switch (1).
  3. Install the switch (1) to the instrument panel cluster trim bezel.
  4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
