Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2009 🢒 Express - AWD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 6.6L 🢒 Oil Pump Removal

    Object Number: 776631 Size: SH

    Caution: Do not use an impact driver to remove or install the oil pump driven gear nut. Use of an impact driver may shear the oil pump drive gear pin in the crankshaft.

    Note: Look for an "L" on the end of the oil pump shaft. If there is an "L" present, the nut and shaft have left hand threads. Service the nut accordingly.

  1. While holding the secondary oil pump shaft with a hex driver, remove the oil pump driven gear nut.

    2. Object Number: 660532 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil pump driven gear.

    3. Object Number: 660339 Size: SH

    Note: Do not damage the crankshaft sensor reluctor teeth.

  3. Remove the oil pump drive gear and crank sensor reluctor assembly.

    4. Object Number: 660533 Size: SH
  4. Remove the oil pump bolts.
  5. Remove the oil pump.
  6. Remove the O-ring and discard.
