Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Support the propeller shaft with safety stands.

    3. Object Number: 159366 Size: SH
  3. Remove the center bearing bolts (3).

    4. Object Number: 159403 Size: SH
  4. Remove the propeller shaft hanger bolts.
  5. Remove the propeller shaft hanger.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 159403 Size: SH
  1. Install the propeller shaft hanger.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the propeller shaft hanger bolts and tighten to 52 N·m (38 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 159366 Size: SH
  3. Install the center bearing (5) to the propeller shaft hanger (1).
  4. Install the center bearing support bolts (3) and tighten to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).
  5. Remove the safety stands.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
