Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement.
  2. Remove the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement.
  3. Remove the 2 bolts at the outer seat riser from the seat back frame.

    4. Object Number: 502203 Size: SH

    Note: Note the position and the length of the bolts removed. This will assist with reassembly.

  4. Remove the right and left bolts that retain the seat back frame to the seat back hinges.

    5. Object Number: 502122 Size: SH
  5. Remove the seat back frame.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 502122 Size: SH
  1. Install the seat back frame.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 502203 Size: SH
  2. Install the bolts that retain the seat back frame to the seat back hinges in the locations noted during disassembly and tighten to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
  3. Install the 2 bolts at the outer seat riser from the seat back frame and tighten to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
  4. Install the seat back cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement.
  5. Install the rear seat in the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement.
