Rear Seat Cushion Frame Replacement With Bench Seat

1. Remove the rear seat from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement.
2. Remove the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement.
3. Remove the seat belt buckles. Refer to Front Seat Belt Buckle Replacement.
4. Remove the lower anchor bolt for the center seat belt retractor, if equipped. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear.




Note: Note the position and length of the bolts removed. This will assist with reassembly.

5. Remove the bolts retaining the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame.



6. Remove the seat cushion frame.

1. Position the seat cushion frame.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




2. Install the bolts that retain the seat back hinges to the seat cushion frame in the locations noted during disassembly and tighten to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
3. Install the lower anchor bolt for the center seat belt retractor, if equipped. Refer to Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear.
4. Install the seat belt buckles. Refer to Front Seat Belt Buckle Replacement.
5. Install the seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement.
6. Install the rear seat into the vehicle. Refer to Rear Bench Seat Replacement.
