Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the front door interior trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
3. Move the window to the full up position.

Bolt, Front Side Door Check Link

Tighten
20 N·m (15 lb ft)

Nut, Front Side Door Check Link (Qty: 2)

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Link Assembly, Front Side Door Check

Tip
Remove the check link through the inside of the door.
