Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the HVAC module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement .
2. Remove the HVAC module wiring harness from the HVAC module.

Tighten
7 N·m (62 lb in)

Sealing Washer

Remove and discard sealing washers. Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement .

Cover Assembly - Heater Screws (Qty: 12)

Tip

1. Remove the heater core cover heat stakes using a small chisel.
2. Install new screw in the heater core cover.

Screw holes are adjacent to the heat stakes.

Tighten
1.5 N·m (13 lb in)
