HHR-SS (Turbo) Problems with Dingy Towing - keywords cooler hhrss hook hookup inter-cooler inner pull pulling tow

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

A customer might have inquiries about "dingy" towing the HHR-SS (Turbo) behind another vehicle. It should be noted, there have been field complaints that the normal dingy towing mounting hardware will NOT fit on this vehicle. This is due to interference between the dingy towing mounting hardware and the turbo inner-cooler.

This is considered normal operation/design and relocation of the turbo inner-cooler should NOT be attempted.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
