Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1633081 Size: SH
  1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement.
  2. Remove the insulator panel. Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement.
  3. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position (APP) sensor electrical connector (1).

    4. Object Number: 1633085 Size: SH
  4. Remove the APP sensor nuts.
  5. Remove the APP sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1633085 Size: SH
  1. Install the APP sensor.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install and tighten the APP sensor nuts to 10 N·m(89 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 1633081 Size: SH
  3. Connect the APP sensor electrical connector (1).
  4. Install the insulator panel. Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement.
  5. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement.
