Rear Washer Hose Replacement Floor Pan Hose

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disconnect the washer hose at the washer pump and drain the washer solvent into a clean, suitable container.
  2. Remove the right side hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  3. Remove the right front door sill trim plate. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  4. Remove the right rear door sill trim plate. Refer to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  5. Remove the right side lower center trim panel. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  6. Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Quarter Lower Rear Trim Panel Replacement .
  7. Remove the right rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Roll the carpeting inward from the front right door back to and behind the rear seat.
  9. Reach into the engine compartment and push the washer hose grommet into the interior side of the vehicle.
  10. Pull the hose from inside the vehicle in order to remove.
  11. Disconnect the washer hose at the upper rear window washer pump hose.
  12. Disengage the tape securing the hose from the floor, from the front door sill plate to the rear upper quarter panel.
  13. Apply new tape near the same locations upon reinstallation of the hose to the floor panel in order to secure the hose to the floor.

Tip
Upon installation of the new washer hose, begin in the engine compartment and guide the new hose in through the lower dash panel to the interior side of the vehicle. Seat the washer hose grommet once the washer hose is in place.

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the rear door opening upper frame garnish molding. Refer to Rear Door Opening Upper Frame Garnish Molding Replacement .
  2. Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear high mounted stop lamp. Refer to High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement .
  4. Disconnect the rear washer hose from the rear washer nozzle.
  5. Disconnect the rear washer hose forward of the rear hose check valve.
