Preliminary Procedure

Open the hood in order to access the radiator grille retainers securing the front radiator grille to the outer hood panel.

Radiator Grille Retainer (Qty: 5)

Tip
Replace the retainers once removed with new radiator grille retainers.

Radiator Grille Assembly

Procedure

1. Remove the grille assembly from the outer hood panel.
2. Remove the grille brace screw and brace.
3. Transfer the grille brace to the new grille.

Preliminary Procedure

Open and support the hood.

Hood Outer Grille Panel Nut (Qty: 5)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
9 N·m (80 lb in)

Integral Hood Clip

Tip
Release the clip from the inside edge of the hood flange.
