Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the console accessory switch mount plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Accessory Switch Mount Plate Replacement.
2. Apply the parking brake.
3. Place the shifter in the neutral position.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Disconnect the electrical connector.
