Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the interior trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
3. Move the window to the full up position.

Rear Side Door Check Link Bolt

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
20 N·m (15 lb ft)

Rear Side Door Check Link Nut (Qty: 2)

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Rear Side Door Check Link Assembly

Tip
Remove the check link through the inside of the door.
