Preliminary Procedures

1. It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only do those step in headliner replacement that will lower the headliner enough to gain access to the part. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the front door. Refer to Front Side Door Replacement .
3. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .

Sunroof Clip Front Retainers (Qty: 3)

Tip
Remove the retainer clips from the side of the A pillar.

Sunroof Hose Drain Front Grommet

Tip
Use care when removing the drain hose grommet end from the hinge pillar. The grommet presses in and pulls out of the hinge pillar.

Sunroof Drain Front Hose

Tip
Disconnect the drain hose from the module by pulling rearward.
