Remove the recliner handle. Refer to Driver or Passenger Seat Recliner Handle Replacement.

Seat Back Cushion Latch Release Handle

Seat Recliner Finish Cover Screw

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Seat Recliner Finish Outboard Bottom Cover

Tip
Unclip the rear of the cover first then pull away from the front side of the seat to remove.

Seat Recliner Finish Cover Screw

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Seat Recliner Finish Outboard Top Cover

Tip
Unclip the rear of the cover first then pull away from the front side of the seat to remove.
