Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the heater inlet hose from the heater core. Refer to Heater Inlet Hose Replacement.
2. Remove the heater outlet hose from the heater core. Refer to Heater Outlet Hose Replacement.
3. Remove the instrument panel tie bar. Refer to Instrument Panel Tie Bar Replacement.
4. Remove the center floor air outlet duct. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement - Center.

HVAC Module to Dash Panel Nut (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (88 lb in)

Cover Assembly Screw - Heater (Qty: 12)

Tighten
1.5 N·m (13 lb in)
