Problem

Action

Front wheels out of alignment

  1. Inspect suspension components for wear. Refer to Struts or Shock Absorbers Weak
  2. Perform a wheel alignment on the vehicle. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement .

Loose control arm

  1. Inspect the control arm. Refer to Struts or Shock Absorbers Weak in General Suspension Diagnosis.
  2. Replace the control arm. Refer to Lower Control Arm Replacement in Front Suspension.

Warped rotors

Replace the rotors.Refer to Brake Rotor Replacement .

Broken/sagging springs

  1. Inspect the springs. Refer to Struts or Shock Absorbers Weak in General Suspension Diagnosis.
  2. Replace the springs.

Worn wheel bearings

  1. Replace the hub. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Bearing Replacement in Front Suspension.
  2. Replace the wheel bearings. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Bearing Replacement in Front Suspension.

Leaking wheel caliper

  1. Inspect the wheel caliper. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement in Disc Brakes.
  2. Replace the wheel calipers. Refer to Brake Caliper Replacement in Disc Brakes.
