Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 669080  Size: SH
  1. Open the rear compartment.
  2. Remove the screw from the high mounted stoplamp bracket.
  3. Remove the high mounted stoplamp bracket.

  4. Object Number: 458174  Size: SH
  5. Remove the screws from the high mounted stoplamp.
  6. Depress the retainers holding the high mounted stoplamp to the inner panel of the compartment lid .
  7. Remove the high mounted stoplamp from the rear compartment lid inner panel.

  8. Object Number: 458181  Size: SH
  9. Disconnect the electrical connector from the high mounted stoplamp.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 458181  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector to the high mounted stoplamp.

  2. Object Number: 458174  Size: SH
  3. Install the high mounted stoplamp pressing in until the retainers are fully seated.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the screws to the high mounted stoplamp.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the high mounted stoplamp screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Install the high mounted stoplamp bracket.
  8. Install the screw to the high mounted stoplamp bracket.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the high mounted stoplamp bracket screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  10. Close the rear compartment.
