Cruise Control Cable Replacement 3400

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 329490 Size: SH
  1. Remove the cruise control from the throttle lever and the accelerator control cable bracket.
  2. Remove the cruise control cable from the cruise control cable retainers.

    3. Object Number: 301717 Size: SH
  3. Remove the cruise control cable from the module strap.

    4. Object Number: 301671 Size: SH
  4. Remove the cruise control cable from the cruise control module by rotating the cruise control cable counterclockwise.
  5. Remove the control cable from the engine.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the cruise control cable to the engine.

    2. Object Number: 301679 Size: SH

  2. Install the cruise control cable to the cruise control module by rotating the cruise control cable clockwise.
  3. Install the cruise control cable to the cruise control cable retainers.

    4. Object Number: 301717 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure the module strap is not twisted during installation of the cable.

  4. Install the cruise control cable to the cruise control module cable strap.

    5. Object Number: 329490 Size: SH
  5. Install the cruise control cable to the throttle lever and the accelerator control cable bracket.
  6. Adjust the cruise control cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Adjustment .

Cruise Control Cable Replacement 3800

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 301687 Size: SH
  1. Remove the cruise control from the throttle lever and the accelerator control cable bracket.
  2. Remove the cruise control cable from the cruise control cable retainers.

    3. Object Number: 301717 Size: SH
  3. Remove the cruise control cable from the cruise control module cable strap.

    4. Object Number: 301671 Size: SH
  4. Remove the cruise control cable from the cruise control module by rotating the cruise control cable counterclockwise.
  5. Remove the control cable from the engine.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the cruise control cable to the engine.

    2. Object Number: 301682 Size: SH

    Object Number: 301671 Size: SH
  2. Install the cruise control cable to the module by rotating the cruise control cable clockwise.
  3. Install the cruise control cable to the cruise control cable retainers.

    4. Object Number: 301717 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure the module strap is not twisted during installation of the cable.

  4. Install the cruise control cable to the cruise control module cable strap.

    5. Object Number: 301687 Size: SH
  5. Install the cruise control cable to the throttle lever and the accelerator control cable bracket.
  6. Adjust the cruise control cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Adjustment .
