Removal Procedure
- Remove the lumbar support knob by using one of the following methods:
- Remove the lumbar knob from the seat.
Important: When removing the lumbar support knob from the seat back, have a replacement part available. The original part may break during removal.
| • | Pull on the knob while twisting the knob from side to side. |
| • | The lumbar knob may have 2 small openings on the housing that slide onto the lumbar drive shaft. A retaining tab slides into each opening when the knob is pressed onto the drive shaft.To remove the knob, slide a flat-bladed tool under the knob housing near an opening and twist the tool to break the plastic housing, freeing the housing from the retaining tab. |
Installation Procedure
- Align the retaining tabs on the lumbar drive shaft with the holes in the knob housing.
- Press the knob onto the shaft until the knob is seated.
