Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2002 🢒 Impala 🢒 HVAC 🢒 HVAC Systems - Manual 🢒 Mode Valve Actuator Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left instrument panel (IP) insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  2. Remove the IP knee bolster bracket. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Disconnect the support clip for the ignition switch harness.

    4. Object Number: 295281 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the vacuum line from the mode actuator.
  5. Lift the lock tab up (1) to remove the actuator.

    6. Object Number: 295288 Size: SH
  6. Remove the mode actuator off the slides of the HVAC module assembly.

    7. Object Number: 295292 Size: SH
  7. Disconnect the actuator pushrod from the mode door lever and remove the actuator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 295292 Size: SH
  1. Connect the actuator pushrod to the mode door lever.

    2. Object Number: 295288 Size: SH
  2. Position the actuator on to the slides of the HVAC module assembly.

    3. Object Number: 295281 Size: SH
  3. Ensure that the lock tab (1) locks the actuator.
  4. Connect the vacuum lines to the mode actuator.
  5. Connect support clip for the ignition switch harness.
  6. Install the IP knee bolster bracket. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  7. Install the left instrument panel (IP) insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
