Glove Box Door Contacts Door Trim Panel (Adjust Glove Box Door)

Customers may comment that the glove box door is contacting the door trim. Contact of the glove box door to the door trim may result in damage to the door trim panel.

To prevent door trim damage, adjust the glove box door using the following procedure.

1. Loosen the screws (1-5) in the glove box door hinge.
2. Cut off the center cross car locator pin (6) from the IP retainer.
3. Shift the glove box door inboard (left) as far as remaining locating pins will allow.
4. Tighten the screws (1-5) in the glove box door hinge.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N·m(18 lb in).
