Removal Procedure
Notice: DO NOT apply paint or clear coat to
the antenna. This will damage the function of the antenna, causing poor reception
or loss of signal reception.
- Remove the right rear upper quarter trim panel. Refer to
Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement
in Interior Trim.
- Lower the rear of the headliner for access to the antenna/cable attachment.

- Adjust the antenna cable mastic patches for access.
- Disconnect the antenna cables from the antenna base cable connectors.
- Remove the antenna base bolt.
- Disengage the retainers at the inside of
the roof.
- Remove the antenna base assembly.
Installation Procedure
- Route the antenna base cables through the
roof opening.
- Install the antenna base to the roof.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Secure the antenna base with the bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the antenna base bolt to 3 N·m
(27 lb in).
- Connect the antenna cables to the antenna base cable connectors.
- Install the antenna cable mastic patches.
- Install the rear of the headliner. Refer to
Headlining Trim Panel Replacement
in Interior Trim.
- Install the right rear upper quarter trim panel. Refer to
Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement
in Interior
Trim.
